Welcome to Arroyo Seco!!
Hello and welcome to my class! I am really excited to be the Inclusion teacher on Team Aloha for the coming year.
Its great to get the opportunity to teach in the same valley that I grew up in. I attended La Mesa Junior High and graduated as a part of the first class in 1996. I then attended Valencia High School and graduated in 2000. The William S. Hart Union High School District offers many opportunities and I hope that you are able to take advantage of them just as I was able to.
After graduating High School, I attended College of the Canyons and joined the Associated Student Government. I served as the Director of Business Affairs and the Vice President. This was an amazing experience that got me involved in college. When you get into college, make sure you get involved. You will appreciate it as you get older.
I earned my Bachelors Degree from California State University, Northridge in 2005 in Liberal Studies, with a minor in History. College is a great experience and I hope you make a goal for yourself to attend. It can be very challenging but worthwhile!!
I earned my Multiple Subject teaching credential from California State University, Bakersfield in 2007. I am entering the second year of my Special Education credential from California State University, Northridge and will be finished in May of 2010.
When I'm not teaching (or attending classes of my own) I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and son. We love going to Disneyland in our spare time!!
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hope we have an exciting time learning!
